EID-UL-ADHA:Special Delicious Recipe to make Festival Special

SHEER KHURMA RECIPE FOR EID-UL-ADHA CELEBRATION

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter  Milk 
  • 200 grams Vermicelli 
  • 1/4 cup ghee or oil 
  • 1/2 cup Sugar (adjust to taste) 
  • 1/4 cup Cream  
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Rosewater or Kewra water 
  • Nuts for garnishing

Instructions: 

In a clean and hygienic cooking pot, heat the ghee over medium heat. Add the vermicelli and sauté until it turns golden brown. Stir continuously to ensure even cooking and prevent burning. In a separate pan, boil the milk. Once it reaches a rolling boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Add the vermicelli to the simmering milk. Continue to cook on low heat for another 10-12 minutes or until the vermicelli is cooked through and soft. Add cream into it. Mix well and simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Sprinkle cardamom powder over the mixture and give it a gentle stir. Add a few drops of rosewater or kewra water for enhanced flavor. Remove from heat and allow the sheer qorma to cool down to room temperature. Once cooled, transfer the sheer khurma to a clean, hygienic serving dish. You can garnish it with additional chopped nuts and celebrate EID-UL-ADHA with tasty and healthy sheer  khurma dish.
